Our “Nouvelle Vague” collection is an homage to the boundary-pushing
creative channel that is French cinema,
and also a tribute to the Provençal décor that provides the backdrop for some of these films.
The warmth of the summer sun, the Mediterranean Sea, the slowness, the idleness, the contemplation…
So it was only natural that we had our heart set on
l'Hôtel le Provençal, implanté sur la presqu'île de Giens, pour incarner cette
bring our Spring/Summer 2021 campaign to life.
This hotel, which is located on the southern tip of the peninsula,
offers a panoramic view over the Hyères islands, and was the perfect setting.
Built in 1951 by Monsieur Michel,
this authentic Provençal property is very much a family affair!
The management of the hotel has now been taken over by his children and grandchildren, which reflects
a value that is also dear to La Nouvelle: the idea of passing something down to future generations.
Hôtel le Provençal is comprised of a hotel with 41 apartment rooms, a swimming pool,
a tennis court and a restaurant, all located within the property’s five-acre grounds,
under the pine trees and overlooking the sea.
We would like to express our wholehearted thanks once again to all the team for the warm welcome and hospitality
they extended to us within this peaceful Provençal haven,
which helped us to capture the full essence of this collection.
